At the World Wake Association (WWA), I have taken on numerous roles to help run and organize wakeboarding events. My passion for the sport drives my efforts to increase event participation, working closely with riders to enhance their experience. From creating schedules and managing event logistics to coordinating staff, I ensure that each event runs smoothly. My involvement has not only strengthened my organizational skills but also allowed me to contribute to the growth of the sport I love by making every event better than the last.

During my internship at First Capital Property Group as an accounting intern, I had the opportunity to work closely with a dynamic team, gaining hands-on experience in financial reporting, bookkeeping, and budget analysis. I also participated in company meetings, where I gained valuable insights into the broader business operations. This experience sparked my interest in exploring other roles where I could be more directly involved with clients and customers. It was during this time that I began considering a future in sales, where building relationships and providing value could drive success.

Working at Nona Adventure Park was my first time having the opportunity to sell and where my interest began. Most visitors came for the aqua park, but as a wakeboard coach, my goal was to introduce them to wakeboarding. I took it upon myself to convince guests to try out the wakeboard cable, highlighting the excitement of the sport and the unique experience it offered. By selling wakeboard passes and coaching them personally, I helped many guests transition from one-time visitors to loyal, recurring customers who embraced the sport of wakeboarding.

As someone who meets countless people every year through my work at West Rock Wake Park, I can say that Gavin stands out as someone truly special.

He consistently goes above and beyond, whether it’s coaching young wakeboarders or helping around the park, even when hes off the clock. His dedication not only to the sport, but to everyone in his life makes him special. I am excited to see what he does and how he can make a positive impact on others.

Gavin has been a great friend for many years. He has always been so respectful and eager to help. He is one of my most reliable friends and I have had the opportunity to work with him on a lot of projects. He was always willing to help out at our Knights Wake events, he has traveled with me working on video projects, and we have even worked together on some UCF assignments.

Gavin is a great student who is eager to learn and help and would be a valuable asset to any team.

I am pleased to recommend Gavin, whom I’ve had the pleasure of mentoring for over a decade. From a young age, Gavin has shown remarkable dedication and growth, both on the water and in his personal life. When he was in high school, he pushed himself to have a full workload and take some of the most difficult classes and join his schools finance program. He continued to push himself in sports traveling and competing at many events.

He has continued to take on more challenges and has been working with me to run local and international wakeboarding events over the years. He has even reached the point to where he is now running some of the events on his own. He is a natural leader who wants to give his best. I am excited to recommend him for any organization.
